We have a tooth!!!

Munchie girl!!! Your first tooth broke through yesterday. What?! How is this possible??? You are still my squishy little newborn, aren’t you? Haha. I cannot believe I am saying goodbye to your precious baby gummy smile and hello to teeth! It’s so exciting and bittersweet at the same time.

You were so adorable last night. You grabbed my hand and brought it to your mouth and then pulled one of my fingers to your lips and started chewing. I felt it almost immediately. There it was, your very first baby tooth poking through your gums! My heart started racing and I got way too excited and called for your daddy to come check it out. Of course you didn’t want anything to do with his hands/fingers haha! But, we were able to pull your bottom lip down and see that precious first tooth peeking through. It’s your bottom middle right tooth and we anticipate the bottom middle left will follow shortly. Guess it’s time to start teaching you about brushing your pearly whites! 😀

We tried and tried and tried to get pictures of it last night, but it was late and you were not impressed with having us fuss about your mouth so I think we’ll try again maybe in a few days once the tooth is more noticeable. We did manage to snap a few photos last night just to commemorate the occasion. I love you baby girl!! And congratulations on your very first tooth!!! ♥

I just spent most of a morning sickness filled day reading your ENTIRE blog, from conception on. Totally cool–great science details! Nice job. (Good work on the kid too!)
