34 Weeks!

And the countdown moves to 6 weeks until your due date!! Woohoo! Baby monkey, I’m so proud of us!! I have to apologize in advance because your dearest mommy has been running around like crazy and I didn’t have time to do my normal belly pictures, but I had snapped one earlier this week. This will have to do for now and I’ll update tonight when I get home from work. Congrats on another week my princess!!!

Please excuse the extra sleepy/exhausted face and the attire…I was just feeling pretty big that day and wanted to snap a quick pic!

UPDATE! Got the belly pics done tonight!  Okay, now we’re officially 34 weeks haha 😉

Symptoms: Fetal movement (yowza you are getting STRONG!), fetal hiccups, sore breasts (I think they’re growing again), sciatica, fatigue, shortness of breath (seriously my lungs are squished!), edema, furry tummy, insomnia, congestion, tight tingly breasts, braxton hicks

Weight Gain: 19.5lbs (no weight gain this week…even though I feel like a whale!!!)

Here is what babycenter.com has to say about your development this week:

Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she’s born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you’ve been nervous about preterm labor, you’ll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.

It’s seriously a mad dash to get things done around here my love but we’re working as fast as we can. I just really want everything to be perfect for you. Nesting much?? Haha. And keep up the dancing and the partying. I really love it. I’m starting to make out different body parts now and boy you sure are strong when you want to get my attention haha.

I LOVE YOU.
