17 Weeks!

We conquered yet another week, baby!! 17 weeks today! Woohoo!

It has been an emotional few days, my love, but we did it and we came out stronger on the other side! It’s really becoming real as we reach the half way mark, sigh. I am just so happy.

Here is what you look like from the outside this week:

Some one please tell my tatas to chill out! I literally can’t fit into any of my tops. I wish this had been a problem for me back when I was in high school! 😉

Symptoms: Uterine stretching pains (which I now realize are called round ligament pains haha), sciatica, frequent urination, tender breasts, congestion, hormonal, hungry!

Weight gain: 2.5lbs

Here is what babycenter.com has to say about your development:

Your baby’s skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she’s around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.

Just a few more weeks and we’ll be halfway there, can you believe it?? My heart beats for you, monkey!

Pssst, who are you?!?! A boy or a girl???? We might have the answer pretty soon here…

About Em

After the loss of our first pregnancy, we took a much needed vacation to Costa Rica to enjoy each other and clear our minds. Well, as luck would have it, we brought home much more than great memories and great tans...our own little Costa Rican souvenir. Here is our journey!

I can’t believe this is the belly you’re hiding in your shirt! You don’t look this pg in person. Obviously this baby is taking after Gian with being camp and all. 😉
So glad you’ve reached another milestone and have endured honoring your angel baby. Hugs
